Veteran mediator Vince Ready is set to resume negotiations between IKEA and the Teamsters Union today in an effort to reach a collective agreement between the two parties.

Ready agreed to resume the mediation process after a number of pre-conditions were met, according to an IKEA press release.

Both parties have agreed to provide Ready with binding recommendation powers if negotiations breakdown during the mediation process.
