Matthew Spring admitted stabbing Hubbard but says he did it to protect his brother during a fight with Hubbard and another man.

Court heard that Hubbard grabbed Spring’s brother by the neck and started to choke him during the fight.

On Thursday the jury found Spring not guilty of a second-degree murder charge but guilty of manslaughter.

Spring will be sentenced Feb. 24 and is out on bail until then.
