Police arrested two men and a woman in connection with a hit and run in the Tri Cities this afternoon.
Pitt River Road was closed between Shaughnessy Street and Mary Hill Road for several hours while investigators combed the scene for evidence.
Coquitlam RCMP say the hit and run took place near Lougheed Highway and Pitt River Road at about 3:30.
Officers soon caught up with a suspect vehicle, which ended up colliding with an RCMP cruiser.
No one was hurt and the trio was taken into custody.
Police add one of the men is known to them but won’t say how.
