REGINA – One man is facing charges after a elementary school in Yorkton was vandalized.

RCMP say a man went into St. Mary’s elementary School, on the 200 block of Independent Street in Yorkton, and caused a significant amount of damage to the school’s interior.

Early investigation reveals that the suspect entered the school through a window and once inside, caused damage to items in the janitorial closet, threw books in the library, smashed a trophy case, several religious statues and computers.
