VANCOUVER — A wounded fawn that was being pursued by wolves was rescued by the Port of Prince Rupert’s patrol vessel yesterday morning. The ship was in waters off Ridley Island, when crew members Darsen Skaar and Kaleb Fitzsimmons recovered the deer. They transported her to the Prince Rupert Wildlife Rehab Shelter.
