REGINA-Thousands of North Regina residents were without power for over an hour Wednesday night.
It was knocked out just before 10 p.m. and affected most of the northern half of the city including Uplands, Churchill Downs, Hawkstone, Lakeridge, Argyle Park, Piapot, Lumsden and the surrounding rural areas.

Many residents took to Twitter and reported hearing or feeling an explosion right before it happened.
SaskPower says there was an accident on Industrial Drive North, and crews headed to the nearby substation right away.
Power started coming back on just after 11 p.m.
