TORONTO — Canada’s Walk of Fame announced Tuesday that actor-director Jason Priestley will host this year’s gala honouring stars like Ryan Reynolds and Rachel McAdams.
”I’m honoured to be hosting this year … and excited to pay tribute to these exceptional inductees,” Priestley said, in a release. “We have a lot to celebrate in this country, and a great show in store for Canadians – with a few tricks up our sleeves.”
The gala will be held Oct. 18 at Toronto’s Sony Centre for the Performing Arts and broadcast as a two-hour special on Global and Slice on Dec. 19.
