WATCH: T-Rex invades downtown Winnipeg highrise live on the Morning News
WINNIPEG – People in the lobby of a highrise at the corner of Portage Avenue and Main Street were surprised to find a tyrannosaurus rex in the building Thursday morning.

Baby T, as the costumed performer is known, didn’t seem worried when a Winnipeg police officer pulled out a pair of handcuffs and shook them at him.
The dinosaur was at 201 Portage Ave. to appear on Global Winnipeg’s Morning News and promote Walking With Dinosaurs, which will be at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg Oct. 8 to 12.
