One man is dead after a workplace accident in the North Okanagan.
Just after 11:30 a.m. Thursday, a 18-year-old man from Armstrong was electrocuted at Nor Val Rentals in Armstrong.
RCMP spokesman Gord Molendyk says the victim was working on a scissor lift when it came into contact with some wires.
He was rushed to Vernon Jubilee Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
WorkSafe B.C. and the Coroner’s Service are investigating.
