TORONTO – A small passenger plane landed safely at Pearson International Airport this morning after reporting a mechanical issue.
Manon Stuart of Air Canada Jazz says the flight reported a hydraulic problem shortly after taking off for Baltimore, Md.
Stuart says the plane with 18 passengers and three crew members returned to Toronto and landed without incident just before 8 a.m.
The passengers were put on another flight to Baltimore.
Emergency measures were deployed as a precaution after the crew of the DASH-8 reported the problem.
Stuart says mechanical crews are trying to determine what caused the problem.
