SASKATOON – Saskatoon’s first ever food truck festival took place on the weekend at River Landing.

The YXE Street Food and music festival served up food and entertainment to an estimated 7,000 people Saturday.

A collection of roughly 15 mobile food vendors were in attendance including Disco Dogs, Pineapple Express, Elaine’s Mini Donuts, Chill Frozen Yogurt, Schryers BBQ, Boryski’s Butcher Shop and Perogie Queen.

Since the city approved food trucks last year, they’ve garnered a lot of attention from hungry people in Saskatoon and it showed on Saturday.
