While production continues at full tilt on the $10 million production of Flicka 3 in the Okanagan, sometimes the smallest details can bring everything to a screeching halt.
Traffic on Gordon Drive in Kelowna between Cook Road and Lexington Drive was closed intermittently on Saturday so film crews could shoot a scene.

Crews needed complete silence outside the small house on a farm where they’re filming near the Kelowna Riding Club.
Traffic was stopped for three minute intervals while crews recorded scenes.
“The microphones pick up everything,” said location manager Renee Bella. “We have an intimate scene. We don’t want to hear cars going by or at night, it’s the visual to see headlights as well.”
The intermittent three minute road closures on Gordon Drive will continue until midnight.
