Toronto- Drake is one of music’s brightest stars, but not everyone remembers his role on the Canadian show Degrassi; #draking might change that.

Pictures have recently circulated on Twitter with the hashtag “draking”, showing Drake’s face on wheelchair signs around the city of Toronto.

Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, played a basketball star who was paralyzed after a shooting in one of the show’s most famous episodes.

Toronto resident Steven Stinson and his girlfriend are behind this movement. Stinson told Global News it’s meant in good fun, and that he is a fan of Drake.

Stinson said he was influenced by pictures of the character Carlton, from the show Fresh Prince of Bel Air showing up on Toronto’s Carlton Street.
