EDMONTON – Fire crews were called to a home in southwest Edmonton Wednesday morning after a fire broke out at the residence.
Firefighters arrived at a duplex at 171 St. and 7 A Ave. shortly after 6 a.m., but couldn’t stop the fire from causing what appears to be significant damage to the home.

The fire was brought under control at about 7 a.m.
Edmonton Fire Rescue said no one was injured.
The cause of the blaze has not yet been identified.
