HALIFAX – Two people were taken to hospital after a motorcycle collided with a vehicle in Dartmouth.
It happened around 4 p.m. on Sunday in the 200 block of Waverley Road.
Staff Sgt. Reid McCoombs of Halifax Regional Police said a car stopped to let a pedestrian cross the road when a motorcycle hit the back of the vehicle.
The 61-year-old male driver in the vehicle was not injured.
He was the sole occupant.
Meanwhile, the 44-year-old male driver of the motorcycle and his 34-year-old female passenger were both taken to hospital.
McCoombs said they sustained non life-threatening injuries.
He adds that the matter is still under investigation and it’s too early to say which, if either, driver could face charges.
