Scott Mclean is Global Regina’s Morning Show reporter. He brings a wave of enthusiasm to the position, where he will go live from different locations in and around Regina every morning.
Scott grew up in St. Thomas, Ontario, which is just north of Lake Erie. He studied film production and screenwriting at Carleton University and York University. While at York University in Toronto, he spent two years writing for the student paper, the Excalibur, the last of which he was News Editor.

Scott went on to complete two internships, one at CHBC News in Kelowna, British Columbia and the other at ‘A’ News in London, Ontario before coming to Global Regina.
Scott directed a film called “Hope is in the Air,” which was screened at a film festival in Michigan.
One of his biggest projects at Global Regina to date is a six-part series on the Snowbirds which also included a 30 minute special on the team.
He also enjoys water polo, skiing, hockey, and following the Toronto Blue Jays.
