Roberts says doctors have advised him that he can not go out on the road for the remainder of this year.

On his Facebook page, Roberts says “just thinking about the many long drives” this fall had him seriously worried.

Roberts says while he is “deeply disappointed,” his medical condition has to be his priority right now and that he will be OK in the long run.

The Crash Test Dummies burst out with 1991’s folk-pop debut “The Ghosts that Haunt Me.” It earned the Winnipeg-based band a hit in “Superman’s Song” and a Group of the Year trophy at the Junos. (CKQQ)
