Fire officials have tallied up the cost of damage during Friday’s blaze in the Whiteshell.
Damage to the West Hawk Inn is pegged at over 1 million dollars.

Fire Chief Bruce Morrison says the building is a total loss. The cause of the blaze is yet to be determined. Initial investigation shows there could be an electrical problem.
There was no one inside the building at the time. The massive fire came just one day before the Inn’s biggest party of the year.
