TORONTO – It’s not every day that you find a human skull at a Goodwill store.
The skull was discovered earlier this week by an employee sorting through donations at a thrift shop in Austin, Texas.
“People donate all sorts of things to Goodwill including prosthetic limbs, prosthetic breasts, ashes, it’s kind of a collector’s paradise,” Traci Berry of Goodwill Industries told KEYE-TV News.

The Austin Police Homicide Unit wants to know where the skull came from before allowing the store to sell it.
“We don’t think there’s any kind of criminal activity that’s involved in this,” said Det. Derek Israel. “We believe it belonged to the person who donated it.”
