BURK’S FALLS, Ont. – Provincial police have recovered the body of a seven-year-old boy who fell into a river near Burk’s Falls, Ont., on Sunday.

Police say Korbin South had been playing near the Magnetawan River with other children when he fell in and was swept away by the current.

The body was found Tuesday afternoon in more than three metres of water.

The OPP says the investigation is ongoing and that foul play is not believed to be a factor.
