Okanagan Forecast: One More Warm Day…But Then A Change

Weather update: Tuesday August 26th 4pm

An upper ridge is keeping summer-like conditions around for Wednesday, but we will gradually cool down starting Thursday.

For the Shuswap and Columbia regions, a weak cold front will clip the area Wednesday evening bringing a slight chance of showers.

The Okanagan will stay dry on Wednesday but when the ridge flattens on Thursday, a shortwave trough will bring a shower risk to the our whole broadcast region late in the day on Thursday.

On Friday, a weather system will push inland bringing increasing cloud and the possibility of spotty showers for the Labour Day Long Weekend.

Tuesday’s High: 24 to 32C
