HAMILTON – An 83-year-old man is dead in what Hamilton police is the city’s second homicide of the year.
Just after 7 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to a home (55 Stirton Ave.) and to investigate an apparent stabbing.

Once there, officers found the body of George Washington Burnett, who lived alone in the home.
Police say he was the “obvious victim of a homicide.”
No arrests have been made and police are asking anyone that may have seen anyone around Burnett’s home on Monday to call them.
