KPMG acquires Vancouver firm Berris Mangan; will join enterprise practice

TORONTO – KPMG LLP has acquired mid-sized Vancouver accounting firm Berris Mangan, which will join the enterprise practice of the accounting giant.

Financial terms were not disclosed in KPMG’s announcement Tuesday.

Founded in 1989, Berris Mangan specializes in serving owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs in a number of industries including service, wholesale, manufacturing, real estate and insurance.

“KPMG Enterprise specializes in serving private companies and entrepreneurs and this move will further solidify KPMG’s position as a leading accounting firm in the Greater Vancouver Area,” KPMG LLP said.

KPMG LLP, a Canadian limited liability partnership, is affiliated with KPMG International, a global network of firms providing audit, tax and advisory services.
