MONTREAL — A fire in Chambly closed down Highway 112 for at least part of the evening on Tuesday.
The intense fire broke out in a former flea market in Carignan.
Dozens of firefighters were called to the scene at 2375 Chambly Road, in the Monteregie region, at around 5:30 p.m.
The building has been vacant since 2012.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
