WINNIPEG – The Louise Bridge will be closed this weekend for maintenance.
The entire bridge will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians from 6 a.m. Saturday until 6 p.m. Sunday.

Several steel expansion joints that span the width of the bridge deck and the concrete that surrounds them need to be repaired, a city spokeswoman said. Routine maintenance will also be done.
Winnipeg Transit routes 44, 45 and 47 will be detoured during the shutdown. For more information on the detour, visit the Winnipeg Transit website.
