ISLAND LAKE, N.B. – A 71-year-old died after his ATV collided with a moose near Island Lake, about 25 kms west of Bathurst.

The accident happened Tuesday afternoon and the Dalhousie man passed away at the scene as a result of his injuries. He was travelling west from Sormany.
RCMP say the name of the man will not be released, and the investigation into his death is ongoing.
