Dozens displaced after early morning fire at Dartmouth building

HALIFAX – Firefighters battled a blaze in Dartmouth early Friday morning.

Crews were called to an apartment building on Elmwood Street shortly after 5 a.m.

Police say the apartment building was partially evacuated and estimate about 40 people were removed from the building.

Metro Transit is also on the scene bringing buses in for evacuees.
