Four people were taken to hospital following a house fire in Surrey last night.
Firefighters were called to 111 Avenue and 153A Street to find the house fully engulfed in flames, according to Battalion Chief Brian Carmichael.
Five people were inside at the time of the fire. One man suffered burns to his feet and a woman and her two children were taken to Surrey Memorial for treatment of minor smoke inhalation.
Crews extinguished the fire quickly and while the cause of the blaze is unknown, arson is not suspected.
The home was badly damaged in the fire.
