CHERRYVILLE – The BC Coroners Service has released the name of a man who died after being attacked by a cow.
Allen Donald Powder, 49, was killed on July 1st while working on a farm near Cherryville.
He was helping move cattle from one corral to another when an agitated and aggressive cow butted Powder with its head.
Powder ran a short distance, climbed over a fence, and collapsed.
He could not be resuscitated.
Powder was from Yellowknife, NWT.
