One person dead after serious crash near Barrie

TORONTO – One person has died after a serious crash involving three cars near Barrie.

It happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. Friday when a motorcycle collided with at least one other vehicle in the northbound lanes.

One of the people involved in the crash was pronounced dead at the scene.

Traffic in the area is expected to be slow as police investigate and cottagers travel north for the weekend.
