HALIFAX – Four men charged with attempted murder in a
stabbing in Halifax last winter are due in court on September 1st.

That’s when the process of setting dates for their jury
trial in Nova Scotia Supreme Court will begin.

Tylor Donovan McInnis and brothers Cordell Alvin Pyke,
Kellen Darren Pyke and Tereeko Shondell Pyke also face charges of aggravated
assault and possession of a knife for a dangerous purpose.

The men are all in their 20s.

Police say 21-year-old James Edward Sprague was attacked by
several people outside an apartment building on the night of February 5th.

He was rushed to hospital with multiple stab wounds that
police described as serious and life-threatening.
