VANCOUVER — For many kids, summer camp is the highlight of the summer. Today a very special group of children got an exciting send-off to their week away. The campers, from six to 18 years-old all have one thing in common – they’re young burn survivors and this camp offers a chance for them to see they’re not alone, and have just a little bit of fun in the process.
