DRYDEN, Ont. – Environment Canada says a tornado that moved through an area of northwestern Ontario this week was at the low end of the scale of magnitude.
Both the weather agency and the Ministry of Natural Resources are reporting no significant damage from Tuesday’s tornado.

Environment Canada’s Geoff Coulson says the tornado tracked roughly 80 kilometres from Oxdrift, north of the Dryden Airport and northeast between Lac Seul and Sioux Lookout.
It has been given a preliminary rating of zero on the Fujita scale, which rates tornadoes up to five.
Peak winds likely reached 110 km/h which Coulson says could cause the rating to change.
Coulson says there could have been other tornadoes in the same system. (CKDR)
