CALGARY – Police have laid several weapons charges against one man following an incident in Bowness Wednesday night.
Officers surrounded a home in the 2000 block of Bowness Road N.W. with their weapons drawn after they received reports of a domestic dispute inside.
Police say a man pointed a rifle at his adult son but he managed to wrestle it away.
The victim and his mother left the house and waited for police to arrive.
Two guns were seized from the home.
The suspects name is being withheld to protect the victims.
