VANCOUVER – Langley RCMP say there are now nine victims linked to a former gymnastics coach in Langley.

In March, John William Henry was charged with one count of sexual interference.

He has now been charged with nine counts of touching a person under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose, eight counts of sexual assault, as well as two counts of invitation to sexual touching and one charge of possession of child pornography, which is alleged to have happened on March 5, 2014, for a total of 20 charges.

The 32-year-old Abbotsford resident was removed from his coaching position at the Langley Gymnastics Foundation and arrested on March 6. Langley RCMP say he does not have a previous criminal record.

At that time, police confirmed the victim in the case is under 16 years old and an athlete at the gym. Henry had been working at the facility for four years and all staff go through a criminal record check when they are hired.
