Police say the crash caused the Honda to overturn and two of the four people inside were ejected.

The driver of the Honda was airlifted to Toronto’s Sunnybrook Hospital in critical condition and has since been upgraded to serious but stable.

A third passenger and the dump truck driver were treated for minor injuries.

After the collision, the truck stuck a large light standard then veered into a cornfield and burst into flames.
