CALGARY- A man in his 20s has died after being crushed by a truck in southwest Calgary.
Police were called to the 400 block of Cedarille Crescent around 9:30 a.m. on Friday. When they arrived, they found a man had been working under a vehicle when it fell on him.

Fire and EMS crews rushed to the scene, but were not able to save him.
“It was witnessed by his friends who were working with him, they phoned 911 immediately and attempted to help him as best they could, ” says Stuart Brideaux from EMS. “It was unfortunately determined when EMS arrived that he was deceased.”
An investigation is now underway.
