Charges laid in Saskatoon’s 4th murder of 2014

SASKATOON – Police have charged a 30-year-old Saskatoon man in the city’s fourth murder of 2014.

A deceased man was found inside a residence in the 1000 block Avenue K North on Thursday.

Sufficient evidence was gathered by investigators in order to lay charges against a person of interest.

Anthony Quattrocchi, 30, has been charged with second-degree murder and offering an indignity to human remains. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

Police say the victim and person of interest are known to each other.

The victim’s identity is being withheld while family is notified.
