WINNIPEG — What a difference a year makes.

Despite playing in front of a tonne of empty seats, the Bombers came firing out of the gate, marching the length of the field on their very first drive of 2014 with Aaron Kelly capping it off with a spectacular touchdown catch.

The Bombers put up 24 points in the first half alone in their season opener against the Argonauts.

The 24 points in the first half was more points than they scored in 12 of their 18 games last season.

As the numbers show, from offence to defence to special teams, the off-season house cleaning has made an immediate impact.
