VANCOUVER – On Thursday a judge denied a change of trial venue for three men accused of murdering Jonathan Bacon.
The notorious gangster was publicly gunned down three years ago in front of a Kelowna hotel.
The three accused are also members of gangs, according to police.
Moving the trial to a different city was one of the options available to ensure an unbiased trial, however the judge ruled it will remain in Kelowna.
A publication ban prevents the media from disclosing where lawyers wanted to move the trial and why it will remain in Kelowna.
