Weather update 8:30am Friday June 20th
It’s Friday and summer starts tomorrow!
A weak cold front pushed across the Southern Interior this morning.
Clouds will linger around longer for the Columbia and Arrow Lakes region, but the Okanagan Valley will enjoy a mix of sun and cloud the rest of the day.
There is some instability in the atmosphere and a very slight chance of convective showers is in the forecast this afternoon.
A higher chance of an afternoon shower is in the forecast for areas near the mountains.

We are still on track to a dry weather pattern with a mix of sun and cloud this weekend – temperatures will warm up above seasonal once again, and by Sunday temperatures will be in the upper 20’s or low 30’s.
