REGINA – A casting call was held at the Regina Lawn Bowling Club over the weekend to see who could be the next residents of Dog River.

The filmmakers of “Corner Gas: The Movie” were looking for over 300 hundred extras on Saturday.

Filming in Saskatchewan for the movie starts on June 19th.

Casting director Wayne Slinn says that over the 22 days of filming, they will also use some of the regular extras that appeared during the six seasons of the T-V series.
