Royal repeat: Kate steps out in second dress from Canada’s Erdem during visit

TORONTO – It was a regal repeat for Kate as she opted to wear a dress from Canadian designer Erdem for the second time during the royal tour.

The Duchess of Cambridge appeared at a prayer service on board the HMCS Montreal docked in Quebec City on Sunday wearing a richly-coloured blue lace Jacquenta dress from Erdem Moralioglu, who is a native of the province.

The Montreal-born, London-based Moralioglu behind the Erdem label created another lacy frock worn by Kate on Day 1 of her first official visit abroad.

Kate stepped off of a Canadian Forces jet Thursday in Ottawa donning a elbow-length, dark-coloured Erdem dress.

She wore the dress to attend a wreath-laying ceremony with Prince William at the National War Memorial in the heart of the city’s downtown core, followed by a walkabout among the thousands of people lining the memorial square, as well as an official welcome ceremony at Rideau Hall.
