TORONTO – Unbelievable video captured by a storm chaser shows the moment he was struck by lightning Tuesday.
Scott Sheppard was shooting a storm system from the side of a South Dakota highway when the lightning strike occurred.

“The strike hit his arm and then travelled down to the ground and blew a hole in the pavement,” Severe Studios said on its YouTube page. “The lightning also disabled his vehicle and a passing car, both of which had to be towed.
“Scott has a sore arm but is otherwise OK.”
Sheppard snapped a few photos of the aftermath.
