KELOWNA– The Okanagan Sun Football club unveiled a fresh new logo and some bright new digs Tuesday evening.
A stylized letter ‘O’ now graces the orange helmet.
It’s a more modern look for the club inspired by American college football.
It’s an alternate logo, which means the original Sun logo will still be considered the club’s official trademark.
The Sun will also be enjoying a newly renovated clubhouse at the Apple Bowl this season.
The club’s trophies and photos are now prominently displayed in the new locker room.
General Manager, Jay Christensen says the updated facility properly reflects the legacy of the Okanagan Sun organization.
The team’s spring training camp gets underway this weekend.
