TORONTO – A large fire in Richmond Hill caused severe damage to a row of houses Monday afternoon.
The fire started around 4 p.m. in an unfinished house on Canyon Hill Avenue and quickly spread to the three neighbouring homes.
Firefighters were able to get control over the fire but not before it caused significant damage to the structures, leaving little more than the frames of the homes.
Large black plumes of smoke could reportedly be seen throughout Richmond Hill.
No one was injured during the afternoon fire.
