MONTREAL – It’s Montreal’s 372nd birthday, and the city is celebrating with a giant cake.
They’re also re-opening the Traces, Places and Memories exhibition at the Montreal History Centre.
The new audio-visual components describe the city’s exciting history through animation and videos from First Nations culture all the way to the Montreal we know today.
The city has been working hard to remind Montrealers of where we all come from.
“The exhibit itself has been here for 13 years, but there was a will to renew the exhibit, integrate technology, so that we can be more welcoming and inclusive of all Montrealers,” explained Manon Gauthier, a member of the Montreal Executive Committee.
“If you want to know where you’re going in life, you never forget where you come from.”
