HALIFAX – Tuition at the Nova Scotia Community College is slated to increase by three per cent for most programs in the 2014-15 school year.
College president Don Bureaux says the increase is to help keep up with rising costs.

Full-time core students will now have to pay an extra $90 pushing tuition to $3,040 for the academic year.
International students will pay $9,800, an increase of $285 over last year, followed by students seeking advanced diplomas who will pay $4,650 after an increase of $135.

Students in the health information management, recording arts and aviation programs are exempt from the increase.
The Nova Scotia Community College offers over 100 programs at its network of 13 campuses across the province.
