REVELSTOKE — Police say no charges will be laid in connection with a road rage incident that resulted in the death of a 55-year-old Revelstoke man.
Dean Pratico died in hospital after getting into an altercation on April 25 in a school zone on 9th Street across from Queen Elizabeth Park.
It was initially reported that Pratico died after being pushed to the ground by a 34-year-old motorists after getting into an argument over speeding in the school zone.
Police now say that the 34-year-old man has been cleared of any wrongdoing and that it was Pratico who instigated the incident.
RCMP add that, despite being cleared of any wrongdoing, the 34-year-old man and his family continue to be harassed with what they call inappropriate phone calls and postings on social media.
