Liquidation World CEO Seth Marks resigns; also steps down as a company director

BRANTFORD, Ont. – Liquidation World Inc. (TSX:LQW) announced Friday the resignation, effective immediately, of company president and CEO Seth Marks.

Marks also stepped down as a director of the company, Liquidation World said in a release.

Chief operating officer Craig Graham was named interim president.

Liquidation World, with more than 1,100 employees, currently operates 90 stores in Canada and is the country’s largest operator of closeout retail stores.

Its stock was down half a cent, or more than eight per cent, at 5.5 cents Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
